Ergomar® (ergotamine tartrate, USP) Sublingual Tablets, 2 mg, is indicated for use in aborting or preventing vascular headaches including migraine, migraine variants or so called "histaminic cephalagia". It is available in convenient-to-carry unit dose packaging and, tablet-for-tablet, is cost effective when compared to the "triptans". Ergomar® is supplied in individual foil strips packaged in a plastic child resistant canister containing 20 tablets (5-2x2 foil strips).
